Donald O'Henley gave evidence to the Napier Commission at Lochboisdale on 28 May 1883. He shows up in the censuses of 1861 and 1871, living with his siblings John, Catherine, Angus and Donald. Their mother Christina is also in the house at 17 North Lochboisdale.
Donald O'Henley passed away on 21 June 1891 at the age of 60, the son of Angus and Christina O'Henley (by that time deceased). He was a general labourer and was not married.
